- Every sailboat carries a story in its name. Ours is a nod to the physics that makes sailing possible:
the Navier–Stokes equations, which describe how the wind flows around the sails and the water moves along the hull.
- It’s no coincidence that our family logo features those very same streamlines—the patterns every sailor intuitively recognizes when feeling the boat “lock into” the wind.
- Naming our Dufour 37 NAVIER-STOKES was our way of bringing together two passions: sailing and the engineering behind it.
